Plum Sauce Glazed Spareribs


Make the plum sauce.  Get ribs from Jacques or whoever you know :D  Rub the ribs with salt, pepper, 5 spice powder, then roast in a 425 F oven for 30 minutes.  Lower the temperature to 325 F and continue to roast for an hour. Baste the ribs all over with the plum sauce, then return the oven to 425 F and roast for 15 minutes, baste, then roast for another 15 minutes.

    That’s weird, I was just daydreaming about roasting a whole pig and making a Chinese style sauce, which I suppose in my head would have been plum ;-)

    Lovely. We just had Mexican-style ribs. Although we eat a lot of things Mexican-style as my husband is Mexican. He can really cook, bless the man. I’ll have to show him this recipe :P
